PrePrompt is an AI-powered pre-production tool for filmmakers. You paste a screenplay and PrePrompt generates a complete pre-production package: Actors, Props, Sets, a shot-by-shot storyboard of Frames, and a rough-cut Animatic. Script in. Animatic out.

Filmmakers, directors, animators, and creative professionals who need to visualize a film before they shoot it. Independent filmmakers who can’t afford a full art department, and professionals who want faster iteration on pre-production.

Standard screenplay format — Final Draft (.fdx), Fountain (.fountain), and plain text. The script should follow standard INT./EXT. scene header conventions. Features, shorts, music video treatments, and commercial scripts all work.

PrePrompt breaks your script into Scenes, Shots, and Beats. Each Beat becomes one Frame in your storyboard. Along the way, PrePrompt auto-creates Actor, Prop, and Set nodes for every named character, object, and location so your visuals stay consistent across the whole project.

For the full walkthrough, see Getting Started and Scene, Shot, Beat.

No. The pipeline runs end-to-end from script to Animatic on its own. You can intervene at any node to adjust, reframe, or regenerate — or let PrePrompt take the whole trip in one pass and review at the end.

Eden is PrePrompt’s AI creative assistant. She reads your script before the pipeline runs, surfaces visual gaps, reviews generated assets against script descriptions, auto-drafts prompts for image generation, and runs quality checks at every stage. She carries the full context of your project across sessions.

Your approved Set panorama converts to a navigable 3D Gaussian splat. You load into it with familiar 3D viewport controls — orbit, dolly, pan — and frame your shot in real 3D space. Actor pins mark where characters stand. When you capture, the clean screenshot (no UI, no pins) feeds image generation.

Every AI generation operation consumes Credits. Verifying your email on signup grants 200 free Credits — enough to take a short scene from script to storyboard. For ongoing work, paid tiers refill a monthly allowance. See Credits and Quotas for the full breakdown.

On the free tier, the 200-Credit grant is one-time and doesn’t refill. On paid tiers, the monthly allowance refills each billing period — check the tier details in the upgrade modal inside the app for carry-over rules.

Yes. Additional Credits are available as one-time top-up purchases at any time, regardless of your tier.

No. Your scripts, generated images, project data, and creative content are never used to train AI models.

Yes. You own your generated outputs. PrePrompt does not claim ownership of your characters, storyboards, environments, or other assets.

PrePrompt doesn’t charge you for failed generations. Credits are held when a job starts and released (not debited) if it fails. You’ll see a status indicator on the node — retry from there. For common failure modes, see Generation Failed and Safety Blocks.
